Heather had always teased me that she wanted me to propose to her on top of the Empire State building in New York. As you know that's a little difficult to do...so instead we tried our hardest to bring New York to her for the engagement party.
...so it would only make sense for us to head straight to NYC for the honeymoon!! Here's some of the highlights...
The NYC Experience...
We just rode the subway everywhere. No one drives in New York...there's too much traffic...
Hittin' up Times Square late night...
Hanging out on the steps from the Jay-Z video...(Neeww Yoorrrrrrrkkk!!)
You gotta love the homeless musicians!
You know you've thought about the wedding too much when you start to see your center pieces in random places...
The Scenery...
You know you're a tourist when you just take pictures in front of tall buildings...
This is about as close as we got to the Statue of Liberty...it's that smudge in the distance that Heather's pointing at...
The wind in Battery Park was a little strong...
We're getting ready to go inside the Empire State Building...
The pamphlet actually said "The lines are just as famous of an attraction." Give me a freaking break...
Statue of Liberty from the Empire State Building...
Beautiful sunset...
We went on a bus tour at night. These shots are from beneath the Brooklyn bridge...
Heather was a little cold...
Broadway...
The first Broadway show we saw was Mary Poppins. I totally believe in the magic!!
In the theatre before Hair started...little did we know...
The cast of Hair. So just incase you didn't know, this show has complete frontal nudity...males and females both...(Don't worry, this picture is PG)
The Food...(My Favorite!)
We were at the best Cuban restaurant I've ever been too.
We had to grab some New York Cheesecake...
We even went to Hoboken, New Jersey for Carlo's Bake Shop...
We felt like we were on TV...
Yeah, be jealous...
Finally Home...
Working out the details of the "carry-the-bride-over-the-threshold-thing."
Running from the Cloverfield monster. It's funny. Every single thing we saw we related to Cloverfield...
We saw this on our bus tour. I'm not sure if it's a Gay club or if someone in this neighborhood was just really excited about something. All I know is that this awesome...
